Etoliation - DO YOU DARE

One of my favourite little planties is Alfred. Alfred is a Crassula and looks rather dashing in the little plant sweater I made:

Now, you can see that he's a little on the leggy side, but I thought "not too bad" and he's been under a red/blue grow light and then on my (sadly North facing) windowsill for most of his life. And he is getting TALL. So tall, that he may well topple out of his new concrete Bulbasaur planter.

I'm going to give him another week or so, and then I'm seriously considering cutting him back and hoping that when he sprouts back under the (new and different) grow lights, he will be all cute and bushy again. And maybe get a couple baby Alfreds out of the deal as well.
