Saying goodbye is HARD

One of the reasons I manufactured as an excuse for buying rather so many plants was "Oh these aren't for me, they will be Christmas presents!" Well, now the time has come to pack these pups up and prepare to rehouse them with their new owners and you know what? That is rather more difficult to do than I thought, originally. Not physically or logistically, but... I separated these pups out, waited for them to root, repotted them, watched them NOT DIE and now... now I have to say goodbye to them. I'm not even going to go into the anxiety of gifting the terrariums - the ones I didn't manage to kill are destined for three different homes and even though they are CLOSED SYSTEMS with proven survivability, I am still worried for them. The other three terrariums need some work. I think they need to dry out some, and then some more careful planting to ensure that they survive. My own one has the tiniest survivor of a nerve plant left... so I want to get some other bits and...
